SELVES
It’s complex.
My “self’ is in my DNA.
It’s the life my partner and I create.
It’s who I am when I’m alone.
It’s the lessons I’ve learned through difficult times.
It’s the things I’ve come to love.
It’s my family experiences.
It’s friendship.
It’s my professional achievement.
It’s the dreams I have for the future.
It’s seasonal.
It’s cultural.
It’s my fears.
It’s a work in progress.
It’s how I am without problems.
It’s the problems I encounter.
It’s how I battle those problems.
It’s who I am when I’m really going for something.
It’s who I am when I need a break.
It’s all of me.
I choose how to define my “self”.
I can let go of things that don’t serve my “self’, without apologies.
I can incorporate things that make sense to it.
The “self’ is something I can always change to be something I prefer.
The “self “ is how I experience my life.
I choose and love my “self”.
